Turn my vm's on after my esxi come back from maintenance mode

Hi,

I build a script for restoring ESXI network config. my problem is that I am missing the command lines that will make my VM's on the host to detect that the host is out from the 'maintenance mode' and they will start them self.

Do you have a vCenter ?

If yes, aren't those VMs started on another ESXi node through HA ?

Would using an Alarm be an option ?

I am not useing a Vcenter. but i thot about it and i will yse the startup option in the Vsphere.
