I'm evaluating Workstation Pro for some automated test setup. I ahve create a VM and I can run it fine from teh manager. For now I run everything locally.
But is it possible to start a VM from powershell and copy files to it?
What I can find is that vSphere have a Cmdlets (PowerCLI) for that purpose, so it might be that Workstation Pro isn't usefull for this.
I'm afraid PowerCLI doesn't support VMware Workstation.
But there are a couple of modules/scripts from Karsten Bott that could help.
Note that these are in no way supported by VMware :smileycool:

With Workstation Pro, you can explore using VMrun.exe found in C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation folder.
