Specify Number of Cores per Socket New-VM cmdlmt

Is there a way to specify the number of Cores and the number of Sockets in the New-VM cmdlmt. I can't seem to figure this out. Should I be looking at a different cmdlmt? I am using powercli version 5.1 and vSphere 5.0 Update 2.

I don't think that is possible with the New-VM cmdlet.

But you can use the ReconfigVM method. See Matt's reply in cpuid.coresPerSocket
