We currently run a dev adn test environment for a team of software developers but there terrible and just leaving VMs running that ar eno longer needed. I'm trying to find a way to schedule the graceful shutdown of all VMs in a cluster every month.
I can so a scheduled task but this seems to be per VM, I can't seem to do a shutdown for all VMs.
Is there a way of doing this?
I suggest you use a PowerCli Script to shut down the VM.
With the PowerCli Script, you can shutdown all VMs on a particular folder or all VMs on vCenter or determinate VMs listed on TXT file.
You can schedule this script on a Management Virtual Machine with OS Windows or Linux
