Hello Team

Eveything works good but the only problem is Virtual device node id is not in sequence, first shared vHDD is getting scsi virtual device node id as 1:1, second shared vHDD is getting 1:0 AND Third vHDD is getting 1:2.

I need your help , how to assign SCSI virtual device node id in a sequence such as vHDD1 1:1, vHDD2 1:2, vHDD3 1:3, kindly assit me on the same.PFA script for your reference.

Thanks in Advance Smiley Happy

You will not be able to control the ID with the cmdlet, you will have to use the API method.

Have a look at my Add-HD function for example. See Re: Adding copied harddisk (VMDK) to a VM
