Role created with command New-VIRole doesn't appear in list for setting permission

Can someone help me with the following behavior.

I created a new role with the command New-VIRole with some privileges, then set a new permission with the command New-VIPermission.

Everything goes well. But in the vCenter interface, when I take a look on the permission, I don't see the role, if I click on the Modify button, in the role list, the newly role doesn't appear.

Does someone have an idea of this behavior ?

Thanks !

Do you see the Role with Get-VIRole?
Do you see the permission with Get-VIPermission?

Could it be that your account doesn't have the privilege to see the new Role and Permission?

Hello LucD,

I changed the script by adding both command to validate the creation, and it's fine now, I decided that as the command show object created it ok.

Thank you LucD.
