Restart VM upon log off - Horizon 7

Hi folks,

Is there a basic CLI script to be had whereby when a user logs off a VD it will automatically restart it. Or would refresh suffice.

We are doing this for app volumes,

in app V notes:

  • If a user logs in to a virtual desktop with a Writable Volume attached, and a different user later logs in without having a Writable Volume attached, a pop-up appears.

Workaround:Refresh or reboot after each logout when multiple users log into the same virtual desktop.

kind regards,

travis

Are these linked-clone pools?

Then the 'Delete or refresh machine on logoff' pool setting would do the trick I assume
