Re-enable client plug-in

Is there an option to re-enable a plugin in the vCenter Infrastructure client using PowerCli? For some reason, my "VMware vSphere Update Manager Extension" plug-in (version 6.0) is getting disabled every morning and, as a result, the regular "Check new notifications" tasks get built up in a queue status. I found that simply re-enabling this plug-in in the client initiates a discovery to the VUM server and all subsequent "Check new notifications" tasks complete successfully.

So, in the meantime, if I could simply script this action to re-enable the plug-in, that would allow for a workaround to the queued tasks.

Thanks!

You might want to have a look at the ExtensionManager.

I had variable success with the Register-, Unregister and Update Extension methods in the past.

But if I'm not mistaken, the extension/plugin concept changed considerable in the latest vCenter releases
