Query about Adding RDM Luns for two virtual machines

Hi

I am trying to add a RDM Lun as below is it correct way? Will it works.

Added a Lun as RDM from Vcenter to one of the virtual machine node

& added same Lun as RDM to other virtual machine node by accessing Esxi Host through Viclient where that secondary vm resides.

I am not working on any code right now but with little curious I need to know on below query and I posted on vmware esxi discussion but no answer so I moved here.,It could be helpful if I get answer here..

I am trying to add a Raw Lun as below is it correct way? Will it works as per cluster requirement(ex:windows cluster)

&  inspite of adding that same lun as use existing to seconda vm I added same Lun as RDM to other virtual machine node by accessing Esxi Host through Viclient where that secondary vm resides.
