Hello,
i coudn't find any answer on the question:
How does the vSphere PowerCLI connect to the VM via the command Open-VMConsoleWindow?
Does it connect to the host and the host connects to the VM or is it a direkt connection to the VM-bus?
And other question is, how demanding is it for the server? (sry if "demanding" isn't the right word for software, i didn't find a better one)
The reason why i ask these question is, that our employees are connecting at the moment to the VM's with the VMware vSphere Client.
But if more than 10 have a console open at the same time, the system is going to slow down, because it isn't made for that use-case.
We can't connect with RDP, because we have to make a VPN-Connection from the VM to an other computer, so it would cut the RDP-Connection to the VM.
Split-Tunneling isn't an option neither.
Back to the source: Is the connectin with PowerCLI a solution for our problem?
If no, do you know a workaround or a solution?
