Matching hosts, VMs, LUNs and NFS and their path to the storage

Hello Community,

I've been given a task to create a report which contains the following:

- list of VMs running on the hosts of a given cluster (easy)

- list of all datastores (both VMFS and NFS) of the hosts in a given cluster. This needs to contain the follwing: Hostname, Datastore name, SCSI name, SCSI path, NFS server, NFS path; matched with hostname and datastore name.

I've managed to get NFS info but the SCSI part is too much for me with my current knowledge.

I can get (most) info separately but not in one script/report.

How can I get the report done?

Thanks in advance.

You might want to have a look at LUN report – datastore, RDM and node visibility
