Issue in New-OSCustomizationSpec in Power CLI 4.1.1

I am using following cmdlet to set OS Customization spec after cloning a VM using Power CLI 4.1.1 on 64 bit Windows Server 2008

New-OSCustomizationSpec

-Name <os cust spec name> -Domain <domain nam> -FullName compfullname -OrgName vmware -TimeZone 035

I get the following error in the above line:

New-OSCustomizationSpec : This cmdlet requires 32bit process. Please run PowerCLI in 32 bit mode.

I have gone through earlier discussion on issue in New-OSCustomization spec in Power CLI 4.1.1. Can you please let me know how to start Power CLI in 32 bit mode on my 64 bit Windows 2008 Server?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Chetana

There is normally a 2nd icon in the PowerCLI group for a 32-bit version.

Or you can start PowerShell itself as 32-bit and then load the snapin yourself.

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe
