Import-vApp and vCenter Extension vService

I try to automate the installation of the vSphere replication appliance,

This appliance needs to bind with the "vCenter Extension vService".

Wit the UI this works as expected, but is this registration also possible within the deployment with powercli?

Not possible I'm afraid.

Wiliam created a PowerCLI Idea for this, see Support vService binding w/Import-VApp

In that Idea he points to the automation alternative via ovftools.
