Identifying and removing a NIC from a DVS or Nexus 1000v

Seemingly easy question... Is there a cmdlet that allows you to identify and remove a NIC from a DVS or N1Kv? When I use Get-VirtualSwitch <FQDN>, all I can see is the VSS setting but nothing for the DVS or N1Kv.

In my dvSwitch series there is a function to identify NICs on a dvSwitch and to add NICs but I'm afraid there is no function to remove NICs yet.
