http://Hello guys,
How can i get the following information from the distributed switches for Each ESx host
I need the Portgroup name on the physical adapters(eg: dvUpl1. dvupl2) and the physical adapters(Physical vmnic or uplinks eg:vmnic4,vmnic5) info and what are the vlans communicating via virtual dv port groups.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks
vKar
I'm afraid the 1000V does not provide public documentation on the available properties and methods.
You can try if some of the scripts available for VMware switches work (I don't have a 1000V to test I'm afraid)
For example, check if this one reports correctly: 1. Re: Mapping Virtual to Physical Network

The Cisco N1KV does not expose VLAN information via the vSphere API; therefore, that information is not obtainable through PowerCLI. You will have to get it directly from the N1KV configuration through the VSM consoles or a Cisco management tool.
