Getting the Resource Group Name (vm.[digits]) to VM name mapping with PowerCLI

I am trying to find a way to list the correlation of the Resource Group Name on an ESX host (in the form vm.[digits] and as specified by some error messages in the vmkernel logs) to the actual VM.

I know I can get it from the output of "esxcfg-resgrp -l" on the ESX host, but I am looking for a powercli command to do the same.

I have seen this in one of the community posts before, but I cannot find it now.

Cheers,

Milos

I assume that this is not possible, since there have not been any answers in a while.

I wrote an Orchestrator workflow instead to get this info by running "esxcfg-resgrp -l" on the host through ssh and processing the output.
