When i run "Get-OSCustomizationSpec" this is what i get, i need to use this to do the mass deployment.

Could you post the syntax of your command and are you running this against vCenter Server.

Dave is right. You must run this while connected to a vCenter.
When you are connected to an ESX(i) server you get that specific message.
Customization Specifications are only available when you have vCenter, but I agree that the message could perhaps be a bit more meaningful

The customization functionality is only available when connected to vCenter.
I've filed a bug for the confusing message when connected to ESX.

Yes, when i run against vCenter it works, let me see if i can use with my script to get the job done
will update later today.....
now the script is workning but the customization did not take place.
