Get-Datastore returns nothing

Hi there,

at the moment I have a problem that Get-Datastore is not returning a single Datastore even i can see them via Web or Fatclient.

This User has restricted access rights so that he can see only two of 30 Datastores but as I said only via vSphere Client.

Is there a special right i have to assign that user so that powershell is also able to get datastores?

VMs that are visible to that Users get returned when running Get-VM

I tried PowerCLI 5.8, 6.0 and 6.3 same Problem everywhere.

You can try giving the user the Browse datastore privilege.

It is already and additionally the Role assigns

- Allocate spcae

- low level file operations

- remove file

- upload "files"

So i think it´s not related but an issue with how powershell deals with it.
