Find virtual machine creation date

Hi there,

Pretty new to powergui...

Is it possible to find the creation date of a virtual machine thru the "get-" commands?

Many thanks

Many Thanks LucD...

I have been searching for the script but I did not come across it until you pointed it out.

When I run the report I am getting 0 Objects returned...

I'm running other very simple reports agains the VC and they are running file...for example "Get-VM -Location EDC". This lists all the VM's in the datacenter.

any idea where I'm going wrong?

This report is created based on the events that are stored in the VC database.

The default script in the other thread goes back 10 days.

If there weren't any VMs created in the last 10 days nothing will be returned.

ah! thanks Luc.

I have to increase the value of the variables...need to go back one year!!

Its taking for ever for the report to run....will leave it over night and see what happens.
