Daily ESXi NTP service healthcheck

    Hi there

We have the need to monitor the config and status of our ESXi hosts NTP service and tried a few of the solutions mentioned on this blog. The last one i tried was posted by "jaydo123" but seems to be for a single post.

Our aim is to query all hosts and display the status on a web page that could be monitored by our Events team

Example of the info we require.

Hostname, NTPservice Status, NTP server and current time on the esxi host.

We will get the page to refresh every hour.

Has anybody ever had the need to do this and if so any suggestions on getting this right.

Thanks

Johan

Have a look at  Script: Check ntp status and time on your ESX servers.

It will require the use of plink to fetch the current date from the ESXi servers.

LucD, your link / webserver seems to be offline. Could you repost your script?

Indeed it is.

Try this alternative, also called Check ntp status and time on your ESX servers
