Has anyone been able to successfully connect to vCenter using a GMSA account?
Per VMware support, GMSA's are not supported. I have opened a Feature Request in hopes of adding support in the future.

Nope, at least not with vCenter 6.0 and higher, and definitely not with VCSA.Is that even supported by VMware?

I have the support question out to our account team. That's unfortunate if it's not possible. Would be a tremendous help to anyone using service accounts to automate tasks.
I agree, and mind I haven't seen a KB, blog, article ... that describes how to do this for VCSA 6.*.
That doesn't mean it's not possible and not supported, just haven't seen it.

Same, I haven't seen anything on it yet either. If i get anything back from VMware on support I will be sure to share it.
