Closing a connection?

I call the "get-vc" withing a ps1 script. When the script is finished the connection is still open. I can see an idle session in VC/administration/sessions. Everytime I call the script there is new connection. And it seems all of these connections are not reuseable.

Is there any way to close the connection or to get reused?

Not with a VI Toolkit cmdlet (as far as I know).

The only way to close a connection to the VC, that I know of, is via the

VI Client.

In the VI Client goto .

For connections to ESX servers I have no idea if the sessions stay open

and if they can be closed one way or the other.

There's not currently a way to do this. We are addressing this issue for our 1.0 release.
