Add pvscsi controller

Good Morning All,

Does anyone happen to have a cmdlet for adding a pvsci controller to a virtual machine? Without adding the disks ( these get added later)

Figured sometimes along the lines of Get-VM VMName New-scsiController -Type Paravirtual would work but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Found the cmdlet in: vSphere 5.5 Documentation Center

Or will this only work if you specify the vmdk along with it?

Because under the vSphere 5.5 client you can't add it in not without a disk, using the webclient you can.

With PowerCLI cmdlets you have to do the controller and the disk together.

See Example 1 on the New-ScsiController cmdlet.

That's a shame, will look at using Perl instead.

Thanks all the same LucD
