About Extending Disk

Hello, im creating vm with powercli from template it have 16gb disk but i want to give 50gb disk.
i am searching example for extend disk size automatically, how i can do that

As always, it depends.

Is the Guest OS on that VM a Windows or a Linux OS?
When it is a Windows OS, is  it the system disk (C:) and which Windows version is it?
When it is a Linux distribution, which distro and version?
