reflexive nat

hello

i have question and may be it is silly question but i want to make sure i understand it right

in vmware nsx-t lab ,we have two t0 active active and there is reflexive nat from  web vm 172.16.10.11 to public ip 80.80.80.1

and then enabled redistribute the nat ip on T0 , so when i ping to 80.80.80.1 it replies and that means it forwarded me to 172.16.10.11

so when i ping from external to 80.80.80.1 , the traffic is divided on both active paths of t0 and forward me to  web vm ? or i understand thing wrongly ? i mean by question i want to know how traffic goes from outbound to inbound at this case ?. thanks

Asymmetric paths will be used when Edge is in A-A mode and there is no connection table to track the flow. Better to call it Stateless NAT 🙂
