The Geneve overlay requires an MTU value of 1600 bytes or greater. !
My questions are:
in a lab or POC environment with an MTU value of 1500 does the overlay works?
If yes, is it supported?
In few words I'm asking if MTU>=1600 is a must or a very best practice.
It is must , since we don't support fragmentation. The MTU size must be large enough to support extra encapsulation overhead.
