I am not quite understand on what do you mean by without license

You will need an NSX license regardless of your NSX version

If you have NSX 6.2.0 license keys you will need to convert them into NSX Enterprise license keys.

No need to buy upgrade the license keys from My VMware portal (change existing key to NSX Enterprise key) - there should be no additional cost associated

For example your existing license is NSX for vSphere 1111-2222-3333-4444, you will need to go to My VMware and upgrade/convert the license to NSX Enterprise and the license key most likely will be changed to 5555-6666-7777-8888

There is a license edition change starting NSX 6.2.2

As per this blog post by VMware: NSXv License Versions - Support Insider - VMware Blogs this will not impact license type and components entitlement for existing NSX customers

As per this KB NSX Editions Fulfillment (2145080) | VMware KB‌ existing customer with active support contract will get an alert in My VMware that you are eligible to use NSX Enterprise

If you are an existing NSX for vSphere customer with an active support contract, you will get an alert in My VMware that you are eligible to use NSX Enterprise. You need to upgrade your license keys to use NSX Enterprise.

In terms of license key, you would need to upgrade the license keys (there should be no additional cost) in My VMware portal.

This KB provides a step by step on how to upgrade license keys on My VMware How to upgrade license keys in My VMware (2006974) | VMware KB

Yes you need it, but you already have it.

If you are an existing NSX customer the upgrade to 6.2.4 will not impact your license type and components you are entitled to. for more information please read this blog: NSXv License Versions - Support Insider - VMware Blogs

Cheers
