error while changing vxlan port after upgrading from 6.2.0 to 6.2.4

hello community,

i face this error while changing vxlan port from 8472 to 4789 after upgrading from 6.2.0 to 6.2.4

how can i solve this issue ?

What about changing the port number using the REST API? See NSX for vSphere and VXLAN UDP Port Number - Stretch Cloud - Technology Undressed for more details.

You can also check the progress of the change using REST API (see VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2 Documentation Center).

There could probably an invalid characters when you input the port#

The procedure of changing VXLAN port is documented here: Change VXLAN Port

If you are still having issue, this KB suggest to open a Support Request to VMware Modifying the VXLAN port in NSX fails (2147638) | VMware KB

Cause

This issue occurs due to a stale entries in the vShield Manager database that NSX Manager inherited during the upgrade.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, contact VMware Support and quote this Knowledge Base article ID (2147638) in the problem description.
