So what i understand is that the DNS configured on the VCE will only be used for services configured on the VCE such as resolving the Orch name , syslog and NTP etc , now my question is , when we make a business policy matching on an address group configured in an object group and this address group matching on "Domains" not IP addresses how this will work since the DNS resolution will be done to the packet before hitting the VCE , we had a case where the the policy didn't take effect and we needed to add the IP Address of the remote URL manually in order for this to work , so i would like to understand the DNS usage in the Velocloud and how the above Scenario where we match on Domains will work on the VCE.
