Tier-0 Tier-1 SR component

Hi,

In a 2 node edge cluster if T0 is in active/standby should the T1-SR be active on the same edge node or it does not matter?

thanks,

It should be active on the same node, if you think about egress to the physical network it would need to still traverse the edge with the active t0sr.

A Tier 1 Gateway requires an SR Construct whenever a Stateful or non-Distributed services are deployed on it. The SR construct is always instantiated on the Edge nodes in an Active-Passive mode for the Tier 1 Gateway. The presence of an SR Construct can influence the East-West routing, North-South routing and ECMP depending on the way in which Edge Clusters are leveraged.
