Hey everyone,
I'm using the create logical switch workflow from the NSX library in VRO. For the workflow, one of the parameters is TenantID.
Can somebody give me more information on this parameter? It is not required to create the logical switch so what does it actually do?
Thanks,
Hi Dean,
I believe it's in there for compatibility with Openstack/Neutron.
In Openstack it's used to specify the owner of a subnet/switch etc. It's an optional parameter in Openstack too by the look of it.

Hi Chris,
Cheers for the reply. You are right, I was sort of thinking the same myself. It is just an optional parameter to improve compatibility with Openstack etc
I think it can be used in the same way Openstack uses it by specifying an owner but it is not mandatory.
Thanks again for the help Chris.
