Setting up a Loadbalacncer for VMWare horizon: Trial Version?

Hello Everyone

I am currently setting up a small environment for VMWare Horizon. I currently have two ESXI-Servers, which each host a VMWARE Horizon Connection-Server and two separate Windows 10 Virtual Machines. I was successfully able to use the Horizon Client to connect to the VM's remotely and I would now like to add a Loadbalancer to my environment, so that I can access all my Virtual Machines in my Desktop Pool over one Address. I have found this Tutorial to set it up: https://interworks.com/blog/2023/06/06/using-vmwares-avi-for-horizon-load-balancing/

Unfortuantely, NSX-ALB is now telling me that I do not have the Licenses necessary to proceed:

Now my question is:

- Is there a "Trial"-Version that I could use to use the Load Balancer I have set up?

- This is for a school project I am working on, so it is not a productive environment...is maybe using NSX-ALB overkill for this and should I may look up a free Loadbalancing solution instead?

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards,

Gabe

Hopefully you can get a trial license by logging into the hol.vmware.com and request simillar lab as you are doing and get a trial version

I sent out a request and did not get an answer yet unfortunately, but I am now trying with HProxy.
