Secondary site Control VM does not send routes to controller

We have Cross-VC setup with local egress but sometimes observed that secondary site control VM does not send routes to Controller. We have verify ccontrol VM ESX has connection with controller.

What could be the issue.

Also want to know how route get refreshed between control VM and controller.

What is the routing protocol you are running in this setup ?  Have you noticed any sort of link/NIC or routing issues in this setup ?  Is your primary site working fine ? Keeping control VM and controllers aside , do you have any sort of connectivity issues between the sites ? If possible please share a topology a capture the traffic flow when there is a potential drop reported. It is hard to isolate the issue with this limited information.
