Routing between segments not working

Hi all,

I guess the title says it all. Routing between segments is not working. Machines can ping to their gateway but not to machines in other segments. Traceroute stops at the router. Traceflow however says it is delivered. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Is this between workload sitting on one host or different hosts?

If different, does it work if two VMS are in different segment's on one host?

Thanks for your reply. It does not work on different or the same host.

Are the segments connected to the same T1 or the same T0 ?
If on different T1's: are the t1's connected to a T0 ? Do you announce the connected routed from the T1 to the T0 ?
Fw issue ?

I tried between segments on the same T1 and between T1 and T0. All the T1 segments are advertised to the T0 and are in the routing table. It looks like the T1 is having some problems on the way back, but can't figure out what it is since I'm quite new to NSX-T.

Hi,

Double check the dfw rules. Are you sure traffic is allowed ?
Did you also deploy a SR part for the T1 ? (you can check this by checking the T1 in the gui. Does it have an edge cluster assigned ?
Can you show the screenshot of the traceflow ? (the whole path)

How does you setup look ? VM edges ? in the same vtep subnet as the esxi hosts ?
