Renaming a Esxi with NSX Installed

Is there a process documentation to Rename an Esxi host where NSX is inslled.

According to the following KB you should remove the host from vcenter and add back in. This mean you want to unprepare the host in NSX. Putting the host in maintenance mode and moving the host outside the cluster will start an uninstall of the NSX vibs via EAM.

If NSX vib is uninstalled will the controller VM will also be destroyed by itself ?

If this is a production setup the NSX controllers and manager should exist in a management cluster with at minimum 3 hosts. Your setup should have 3 controllers and you should setup DRS affinity rules for each of the controllers so you do not have more then one controller on a host.

If this a POC setup and you only have one host in your setup for the control cluster then consider either adding a new host or delete the control cluster and recreate it. You can resync the control cluster, below is the link in the documents.
