Questions on SDN/NSX

I have read some article about SDN and it's used the OpenFlow protocol.

Then, NSX also used that OpenFlow protocol?

If so which components used between them? Welcome any correction on my questions

NSX-v is not using Openflow for any type of communication. You find all the communication channels in the below screenshot .
