Question on Storage vMotion of NSX-V appliances

Hi. I have seen TID which give different advice on Storage vMotion of the appliances. I have to move all the appliances to a different array. I have vMotion everything fine in the past, but I am a bit worried on the Storage vMotion but also am hesitant to shut it all down to move, so has anyone ever done this? Thanks,,,

Migrating within the cluster is fine, you can simply SVmotion them( beware of redeployment task limitation for edges)

Assuming this is vSphere only integration for NSX-V ?  In that case, you can certainly SVmotion the appliances, please refer https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2094582

Hi. Thank you. I see that one seemed to say it was supported. I do though when I look at this KB.

get confused. I get confused on the term "shared storage" because when VCSA is in linked mode you can move computer/storage to another cluster even though the clusters do not have "shared" storage. So this is my confusion. Thanks,,,

That KB is specific to migrating between vSphere clusters. In your case movement is limited to Edges?

Hi. I am sorry I should have been more specific and I got myself a bit confused with our T migration. For our NSX-V we replacing a storage array, which means we will be adding a new storage array to our NSX-V cluster, and we will need to Storage vMotion our NSX Manager, NSX Controllers, DLR, and Edge gateways. I just am hoping I can do a simple Storage vMotion, and not have to redeploy the controllers and DLR and Gateways, though I know that if they have to redeploy I will need to change their location, because they have the old location. I am just confused if it is safe Storage Vmotion all those appliances. Thanks,,,
