Query related to Thumbprint

Dear Team,

when I tried to add Compute Manager on NSX-T, getting Thumbprint missing, is below Thumbprint for VC, Could someone please revert on the below queries?

1) What is the use of Thumbprint and Why it's required?

1) Will this thumbprint will get added into NX-T? Yes/No

2) Will NSX-T will use this thumbprint to communicate with VC? Yes/No

3) If NSX-T adds this thumbprint, will VC also add NSX-T Thumbprint into VC? Yes/No

Hi,

Thumbprint is the hash value of the certificate. If you make even a slight change in the certificate such as adding or removing a space, the hash value will change. Thumbprint is not used for communication. It is just used to validate if the certificate is correct or not.
