I don't find any specific response to my question but I will ask you anyway.
Does someone know how is it possible to have a 25Gbit/s network card PCIe Gen4 connected to a PCIe 8x port and have a 25Gbit/s speed rate ? If I'm not wrong, the 8x mode of PCIe Gen4 can go up to 16Gbit/s only but the network card can go up to 25Gbit/s.

Throughput per lane is 16 GT/s, and as we have a full duplex, we will get 32 GT/s per lane so eventually bandwidth will be more based on the number of lanes Pci Gen4 supports.
