Hello, we are trying to migrate NSXV to NSXT with coordinator.

during the import step we have an error in step 4.

1: Check prerequisites: Passed

2: Import vCenter configuration: successful

3:Import NSX for vSphere Configuration: Successful

4: Transfer imported configuration: Failed

Config translation failed Reason: TOPOLOGY Can not proceed with migration: Unsupported topology found with depth 1

unfortunately I can't find any information about it.

could you help me ?

regards

Hi Daufrand,

I assume this is an in-place migration, end-to-end via Fixed Topology option? If so, you'll need to ensure your topology matches one of the five supported topologies as detailed via https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-NSX-T-Data-Center/3.2/migration/GUID-FA5EFF22-B7CA-4FF8-A0D3-C0CB0...

Hi,

Can you share the existing topology of your NSX-V. If you are planning to do in-place upgrade using NSXT 3.2 you can try with using user defined topology, instead of Fixed topology. let me know if this helps.
