I trying to restore NSX configuration from backup. I did restored NSX manager configuration. And now I have not any VTEPs port group in my DVS. How I can to restore DVS configuration using NSX backup only? Is it possible?
Hi,
It is not possible to do this with just NSX backup. You also need to backup the vCenter.

NSX Backup and RestoreProper backup of all NSX Data Center for vSphere components is crucial to restore the system to its working state in the event of a failure. The NSX Manager backup contains all of the NSX Data Center for vSphere configuration, including controllers, logical switching and routing entities, security, firewall rules, and everything else that you configure within the NSX Manager UI or API. The vCenter database and related elements like the virtual switches need to be backed up separately. At a minimum, we recommend taking regular backups of NSX Manager and vCenter. Your backup frequency and schedule might vary based on your business needs and operational procedures. We recommend taking NSX backups frequently during times of frequent configuration changes.NSX Manager backups can be taken on demand or on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis.

And now, I did uninstall NSX (using host preparaions -> uninstall). Then I introduced hosts int maintance mode and rebooted.
After reinstalling I see that configuration is not deleted. Now I cannot to unconfigure VXLAN with error: "Error retrieving DVS forwarding class for switch dvs-30."
How I can to reinstall VXLAN configuration?

Is this the only way?
I think, that NSX manager backups fully unsable...
If you have support, I also recommend that you open a ticket. If you allow them to remotely access your environment, they can do much more.
I don't think you can fix it, just having backup of NSX management.
