NSX "blocks" IP

Hi,

We are running test cases where we clone a template to VM, start it, and do some script-based tests.

The problem is that we use the same IP for the test (it is mandatory because of the test process) So any time we drop an old VM and create a new one from the template (with the same IP), it is accessible in the same network, but it takes approx 1 minute to be able to access from the other logical switches.

What can I do to make it faster?

Does anyone know what should be the reason for this behavior?

Thanks

Looks like segment profile might be slowing things down. You can review its configuration , you most probably using default, you might want to use custom and test if it can help.

Hi memaad!

What if I use only NSX and not NSX-T? Is there any way to set something like a segment profile in NSX as well?

Thanks

No experience in NSX, However NSX-T is going forward. Rather raise ticket with VMware support to get to bottom of this issue.

Hopefully any other community member might have something to contribute on this issue
