NSX logical router Appliances ( reboot standby vm )

Hello Guys ,

I am currently experiencing an issue on NSX . one DLR vm ( Standby one ) is in a bad state . I would like to perform a reboot of this vm (High CPU usage).

is there any downtime that i should experience on the NSX side iif this standby vm is rebooted ?

Active VM is working with no problems .

Thanks .

Hello,

No. You can do a reboot in the standby VM without problems. Just be sure there are no services running there. You also can run some commands to validate which process could be causing this high CPU usage.

Thank you atusmenezes.

Standby dlr appliance seems to be stuck ( no prompt from the console ) . cpu is at 100% whole time .

Is there anything to check on the NSX manager before doing a vm reset ?

Thanks.
