  • 1.  NSX dFW flow statistics is zero

    Hi,

    Within NSX dFW, in order to have flow statistics (# of packets; # of bytes) showing for each rule, do I need to turn on Flow Monitoring within NSX?

    If yes, should I turn it on and leave it running? I thought it affects performance...

    If not, then why all my rules have 0 for flow statistics # of packets; # of bytes in last 24-hour?

    Flow monitoring does need to be enabled to see # of packets and bytes. NSX-V 6.4.2 added rule hit stats which will populate without flow monitoring enabled.
