NSX and Nexus1000v Question

Hello, apologies if this sound silly but I'm pretty new to NSX and can't find a response to my question. I come from a traditional network background and I'm on day 1 with NSX.

I have an NSX lab setup ( 6.1.4 ) with edge and compute clusters, The purpose of this is to compare and test the differences between NSX distributed routing and Nexus1000v. Is it possible to install Nexus1000v along side the NSX distributed routing function to carry out some functional tests?

Unfortunatley I don't have the capacity to get my hands on an Enterprise edition licence. All I have is a NSX lab.

Any tips or ideas greatly appreciated.
