NSX-V Communication health status for all ESXi node are going up / down

Hi All,

I have NSX-V deployment on top of Cisco HCI (Hyperflex) ESXi 6.7 U3 and the NSX version is 6.4.5, so after I have started the host preparation stage I  found all nodes communication health status for all nodes are going up/down. so anyone faces this issue before also all hosts are registered on vcenter by IP address NOT FQDN so that may make any issue there?

Hi Karim,

Please check if you have any firewall or any IPS/IDS doing traffic inspection causing such behavior between your ESXi hosts and NSX manager/controllers. the communication channel here shows the connectivity between the hosts and the controllers for the netcpa agent, as well as the connectivity between the nsx-v manager and the hosts for the firewall vsfwd agent.

Go to NSX-System-Events and check if there are any errors, warnings?

Second thing is to check MTU on your infrastructure.
