NSX-T VMKERNEL IP Info

Why and how are the ESXi host TEP VMKERNELS hidden from vSphere Web Client? They are visible from the ESX CLI but having them visible in the vSphere Web Client would be very useful for troubleshooting and verification purposes.

At this point vmk10 and vmk50 ports are not visible in the vSphere Client. That's probably something else that will change in the future when the product matures, but for now that's what we got.

Yes, but why? seems like VMware is going out of their way to make it more difficult for us to do verification and troubleshooting. NSX-T is complicated enough without having to hunt around for TEP IPs and which ones are on each host.

You're welcome to ask VMware that directly.
