Hello all, this is a strange one. Setup NSX load balancer with virtual server for UDP port 514 "syslog" and separate virtual server for UDP port 2055 "Netflow" both to same 2 pool members. When testing with sending syslog and netflow from esxi 7 servers, it is not load balancing properly and sending syslog to both servers but netflow to only one end point collector (pool member). When testing with a Netflow traffic generator app from a test windows server, load balancing works as expected, so NSX load balancer is working as intended. It seems, esxi hosts are not wanting to load balance netflow at all and always picking one pool member. Netflow has been configured at dvswitch level and enabled per port group.
Wondering if this is expected behavior from esxi netflow or something else going on??
