NSX Locale-ID

While multi-site with Locale-Id is a great feature - as it avoids all kind of tricks with route-metrics or Admin Distances to create the concept of a primary- and secondary DC location per IP prefix(es)

However, is there a way to make it conditional by means of say IPSLA - tracking the availability of an upstream critical IP address, say the loop-back address of a WAN Edge router or Internet Access GW.

Likewise we could avoid black-holing; assuming the NSX controller would *not* necessarily understand Northbound implications of routing issues or isolation at that level. Say we could then relinquish routes and signal the peer ESG so it could start to advertise the otherwise isolated prefixes in DC-A (provided that the calamity at hand would not be at the NSX/vSphere level but upstream).

In the olden days something we used to do with iBGP trickery and conditional forwarding.

Any thoughts ?
