NSX 6.4 Edges - Where did forwarding address and protocol address go?

This is with NSX 6.4.0.  Working on configuring OSPF on a set of associated ESGs and DLR Edges. On the OSPF configuration section, there are no longer fields for the forwarding and protocol addresses.  Is this setup some other way now?

Looking at the VMware documentation for 6.4, they still reference it in the DLR doc, but not in the ESG doc.

Configure OSPF on a Logical (Distributed) Router

Configure OSPF on an Edge Services Gateway

Thanks,

David

Forwarding and Protocol only for DLR since Control VM protocol and  ESX host Forwarding IPs reside on different locations. For ESG edge there is no need since Ospf Control and data planes same VM.

This link may be helpful on the difference of Ospf on Edge and DLR ( the GUI is slightly different)

Yeah, to clarify, I mean where did the setup go on the DLR Control VM in 6.4?  The screenshot is of my DLR Edge, not my ESG Edge

I figured it out.  Error between seat and keyboard.    Apparently, I did not click on the right option and what I thought was my DLR control VM was actually deployed as an ESG.  After removing and redeploying correctly as a Logical Router, this time the forwarding address and protocol address fields are there on the OSPF pane.

The deployment is similar, both are Edges but ESG Edge and DLR Edge types different aerchitecture. Since deployed same way and same place differentiation could be difficult

After deployment these links could be helpful to identify the edge type:

NSx Edges window

VCP-NV: Deploying an Edge Services Gateway

Edgetype parameter seen on this link lists with rest API call either as type distributedRouter or edgeServices.

https://virtualhobbit.com/2017/01/06/deploying-vmware-nsx-edge-services-using-the-rest-api/

on NSX manager cli “show edge edge-id” also gives the type:
